HERSHEY, Pa. - Patrice Cormier scored as the St. Johns IceCaps beat the Hershey Bears 3-2 on Saturday in American Hockey League play. The win clinched the top spot in the Atlantic Division and a playoff spot for St. Johns, which became the first team to win a division title in its inaugural season since the Binghamton Senators in 2002-03. Arturs Kulda also scored for the IceCaps (40-21-8), who used three unanswered goals to hold off the Bears. Mike Carman put Hershey (38-21-10) ahead 1-0 at 12:36 in the first period, and Ryan Potulny added another in the games dying seconds. Cormier scored shorthanded to tie the game at 16:24 in the first. Kulda put St. Johns ahead in the second, and Cormier scored again in the third to put the IceCaps out of reach. Chris Carrozzi made 24 saves in net for St. Johns, while Dany Sabourin stopped 22 shots for Hershey. Dominique Easley Womens Jersey .C.
