Hi everyone! To mark my return to full-time a cappella production, as well as Russell Kamp's entry into the scene, we've decided to join forces and present the first-ever Valentine's Day Online A Cappella Competition
! Here's how it'll work:
1) Submit a great LIVE
recording (sorry, no studio recordings, please) of your group's best song in either MP3 format or a YouTube link, to email@example.comDEADLINE: Mar 14, 2011
2) We'll select the winner, and results will be announced by Mar 21, 2011
on this forum.
3) The winning group/song will receive a studio arrangement consultation
, followed by on-site recording and editing by Russell Kamp
4) Following which, the track will be mixed and mastered by Tat Tong
, FREE.*Only applies to groups in the continental United States
All participants will also receive a 10% discount
on subsequent recording, editing, mixing and mastering services by Russell Kamp and Tat Tong, valid till 31 Dec 2011.

Russell Kamp got into recording by accident after recording his own group, UO Mind The Gap (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/MindtheGap
). After mixing the album with Bill Hare, he was hooked and continued to record and edit a cappella for other groups while finishing college. Feb 2011 marks the debut of this young and talented engineer into the recorded a cappella scene.
