Twisted Measure Review

Postby TM » Wed Nov 17, 2004 2:07 pm

I would just like to comment on a couple of things...

First, I am not sure how the reviewer got the information that this CD was a couple years in the making. We recorded EVERYTHING in 3 days, spending half a day on one song that did not even appear on the album. And a total of 6 days mixing and mastering the album, which is not a lot. Also, all the vocal percussion tracks were done like a live recording. The only two which was altered at all was Hit Em Up Style and In the End.

I realize these are minor points but I just thought I would clear that all up. I am actually happy with the reviews considering the amount of time and money that went into this CD. As pointed out it was Twisted Measure's first CD and we all learned a lot from it. Be ready for the next one...

Maybe the reviewer meant, "It took the group awhile to come out with an album" and not, "It took the group a long time to actually record this album"?
