Let me just give mad props to the RARB reviewers for Cadence's newest release: Twenty for One. People, if you haven't heard this CD, you must buy it. has got it on special: Buy both their CDs in a package for like $25.

Does anyone else absolutely love this CD? What do people think? And how do you think it rates in comparison to their first CD?

Love both albums a great deal. In my modest opinion, with their second release, Cadence firmly established themselves as the premier jazz aca group. Although the second album may lack some of the big name songs that the first did, it by no means indicates the strength of the album. On that note, the original songs on "Twenty for One," namely "Don't fix what's Broken," are truly excellent.

Either way, I would encourage anyone to purchase one or both of the CD's - great fun.
