AcaBelles announce Vocaluptuous 2009!!!

AcaBelles of Florida State University would like to announce this year's Vocaluptuous: All-Female A Cappella Retreat. As Summer is coming to a close many groups are already making plans for their Fall semester and we would love for Vocaluptuous to be a part of them.

Vocaluptuous is a weekend-long retreat of information sharing, bonding, and networking with all-female a cappella ensembles. From how to arrange for female voices, to dealing with everyday group interaction, all-female a cappella ensembles have to overcome many issues specific to their needs that are rarely addressed otherwise. Therefore, the purpose of Vocaluptuous is to gather information from other groups that have similar concerns. Through forum-style workshops and performance sessions, this retreat serves as a time to share experiences and learn from others’ mistakes and accomplishments. Vocaluptuous is also a great way to meet all-female groups that you otherwise may never get to know and can serve as grounds for bonding within your own groups before the whirlwind of competitions, concerts, and conventions begin.

As of yesterday, dates were secured for this year's Vocaluptuous. It will be held during the weekend of October 23-25, 2009 in Tallahassee, FL.
