Dear all,
I am quite excited to have become an Overseas CASA Member and I am now looking into getting my choir- The Bonner Jazzchor -involved and heard. On reading your classifications I realized that nearly all Non-Professional Ensembles and Contemporary Choirs in Germany fall into the category CAL. We do not have a tradition of collegiate a cappella here. Groups are formed from people of all walks of life and we take it from there. Is it possible to become a CAL member as a German choir? And When presenting our CDs for review are we CAL? Because we certainly do not see ourselves as professionals and collegiate we are obviously not ;-)
Please advise!

CASA? CAL? No ideas, suggestions or solutions to the question of overseas CAL membership? Even if you say that it's an all american thing that would be a definite answer!
